Position
:            Senior Software Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location:    Paybee, Inc. 450 Pepper Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94306 (allows for telecommute in U.S.)

With a high amount of independent decision-making and minimum supervision, the Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the following job duties.

1. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced applications for Apple’s iOS platform. This includes collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and backend engineers—to build intuitive, user-centric mobile experiences that align with business goals and delight end-users. This work will influence both the technical direction and overall quality of the app.

2. Architecting scalable solutions using Swift and related technologies, ensuring best practices are followed in terms of performance, security, and maintainability. This includes writing clean, reusable code, participating in code reviews, and maintaining high standards for testing and documentation. Additionally, this includes mentoring and supporting junior developers, sharing knowledge, and guiding the team through complex technical challenges.

3. Staying current with iOS development trends, SDK updates, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations. These insights will contribute to technical planning, sprint estimations, and long-term product strategy in order to drive the successful delivery of high-quality, stable, and user-friendly iOS applications.

4. Build and test the final deliverables.

5. Implement product features via computer programming.6. Articulate requirements in product spec/design.7. Understand the software product requirements.This position allows for telecommuting within the U.S.This position requires a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in CS, CE, or closely related, and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or closely related field. Must have experience with:1. iOS app programming;2. Objective-C or Swift;3. Apple Frameworks like Address-Book, AddressBookUI, AssetsLibrary, AV-Foundation,CFNetwork, CoreData, CoreFoundation, CoreGraphics, CoreLocation, EventKit, Foundation,MapKit, MessageUI, QuartzCore, Security, SystemConfiguration, and UIKit;4. API integrations using XML/JSON parsing;5. Consuming REST APIs and working with databases

6. Cloud/Push notification services and third party framework integrations; and7. Agile development.

Salary: $190,000 - $199,000; Full-Time.
